If you so request in the secure online incorporation form, we will prepare (to signature ready condition) your corporation's IRS application for "S" corporation status. Think twice before attempting this form on your own; the IRS states that the "estimated average time" to complete this form is over 7 hours. S CORP ELECTION - STATE. The State of California no longer requires the filing of a separate state S election form. Beginning on January 1, 2002, a corporation with a valid Federal S corporation election will automatically become a California S corporation. California Franchise Tax Board Form 3560 is now obsolete.
